What’s your favourite song?
Burning man by Dierks Bentley
What’s your biggest motivator?
I had a picture on my desk for 40 years that said:
“Patience my a** – I’m gonna kill something”
What is your earliest childhood memory?
Climbing the solid wood toy cupboard and it falling on me – splitting my lip open (Dad didn’t secure it to the wall but to be fair he didn’t expect me to climb it!)
Meet Ian Wainright

What is your favourite film?
The Godfather trilogy stands out, although I am a sucker for a Western (especially with Clint Eastwood such as The Outlaw Josey Wales and The Unforgiven).
Do you have any hobbies?
I was a keen footballer for 30 years and have just discovered walking football, so back to playing the “beautiful game”. We live by the sea, so sailing and sea fishing with friends during the summer months is high on the list. We also own a motorhome, and we try and get away about 10 times a year for short breaks all around the UK, which has some truly stunning scenery and places to visit.
What is your earliest childhood memory?
Any excuse to play football with my friends. This could be playing on the “green” or just in the street using a garden wall as a goalpost.
Meet Lansbury Sessions
Lansbury, a seasoned financial sector veteran, boasts a Director-level career and a successful track record as a Business Angel.

What is your favourite film?
The Seventh Seal – The game of chess that the knight plays with ‘Death’ believing he can win took place during the time of the Black Death. It’s a fascinating watch with great cinematography.
Do you have any hobbies?
I spend my spare time creating tabletop black and white artistic studio photographs of everyday items. It sounds strange but it is a rewarding hobby which keeps me quiet!
What is your earliest childhood memory?
My earliest memory is receiving a wigwam for Christmas, in which I sat for the whole of the day – strange child!!

What is your favourite film?
The Lords of the Rings trilogy – epic, dramatic, fantastical. I think there’s a bit of Hobbit in me!
Do you have any hobbies?
I’m a big fan of heavy rock music, especially from the 70s and 80s. I have been an avid Sunderland AFC supporter for more than 50 years now and, being a lapsed rugby union player myself, I follow The Harlequins for fun and love The Six Nations.
What is your earliest childhood memory?
Playing football on “the green” with the local lads in darkest County Durham and hoping to play for Melchester Rovers, like Roy Race, one day. I remember getting a West Ham away strip for Christmas and being “over the moon”!
